Steadily improving iPhone camera capabilities over the next two years will significantly increase Apple's market share. Tianfeng International analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has released a new statement that refers to the next generations of the iPhone line of smartphones. He confirmed previous information that the iPhone 14, which will be released in the fall of 2022, will get a 48-megapixel image sensor. In addition, he added that Apple will improve the iPhone camera and add a periscope camera for high-quality optical zoom to the new smartphone (iPhone 15) in 2023.

Ming-Chi Kuo also noted that the steady improvement in iPhone camera capabilities over the next two years would markedly increase Apple's market share as well as the financial performance of Largan, the iPhone camera supplier.

Apple is expected to release four iPhone 14 models next September, including a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.

All four iPhone 14 models will feature 120 Hz high refresh rate screens, and the Pro models will also get 8 GB of RAM. The smartphones will be based on Apple's A16 Bionic single-chip system.

In addition to a 48-megapixel main camera, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models should get two 12-megapixel cameras, as well as hole screens. The two younger versions will still use displays with bangs.
